.........THE VILLA SANKOFA
The Villa Sankofa is a recently built, charming and modern lodge located at Ejisu, in the immediate outskirts of the garden city of Kumasi, Ashante Region Ghana. The Villa Sankofa’s architecture is just mesmerizing and breathtaking and currently offers eight rooms, each with bath and shower, satellite television, DVD player, CD player, Microwave oven and portable fridges. Its unique location in Ejisu, a town historically remembered for its famous and legendary Queen-mother Yaa Asantewaa who largely influenced the war between the Ashantes and the British in1900. Villa Sankafa is envisioned to be more than a lodge of just lavish amenities and facilities. The plan is to create an environment and feeling of ‘home away from home’ in a luxurious and relaxed atmosphere that surpasses the standard available in the whole of Kumasi. The lodge’s core target customers would be foreign tourists on historical and spiritual experience of the Ashanti Region, as well as the rich and beautifully different cultures of the other parts of Ghana. |
